Without Investment
The Portugal residency without investment program offers a visa option without requiring financial investment. Instead, applicants are required to demonstrate sufficient recurring income or savings. There are two main programs, the Portugal D7 and D2 programs, each with rules and requirements.
Without investment, the D7 Portugal residency program is solely based on independent criteria, providing a pathway for residency. On the other hand, the D2 Portugal residency program without investment is an entrepreneurial visa that requires a substantial investment to be eligible for citizenship.
Please continue reading for more detailed information on the D2 and D7 Portugal visa programs.
Protugal D2
The Portugal D2 program often called the fixed residency visa, is specifically tailored for entrepreneurs aspiring to invest in business ventures or individuals with innovative startup ideas. Freelancers offering services relevant to Portugal can also apply for the D2 Visa. This unique visa grants individuals the same rights as residents, providing the opportunity to live and travel freely within Portugal. Unlike other investment visas, there is no set amount for D2 investments. Applicants are primarily required to showcase financial capability and adequate housing arrangements.
